We offer a variety of training courses designed to equip church leaders across our region

 

Safeguarding

The BU have developed a range of Safeguarding training which we deliver in our region.

Core Leaders

Our Core Leaders Training  is open to any Baptist Pastor, Deacon, Elder, Church Leader or Trustee.  The course is run in different networks across the Association throughout the year and covers 6 subjects: Church Leadership / Trusteeship / Spiritual Life of the Core Team / Working Together / Decision Making / Making the most of the Church Members Meeting.

Equipped to Preach

Do you sense God might be calling you to preach? Equipped to Preach is a course of 8 x 2-hour sessions, which take place once a month.

GDPR 

The Baptist Union webinar is now available to watch in the form of a YouTube video via the Baptist Union's new GDPR dedicated page. 

Food Safety

It is usually easier to book your food safety training on-line and there are number of organisations who are RoSPA approved. For more information click here.

First Aid

If you need to book First Aid training we suggest you contact either via the British Red Cross https://www.redcrossfirstaidtraining.co.uk/courses/ or St John’s Ambulance https://www.sja.org.uk/courses/ for details of their courses.
