NEW REGIONAL MINISTER
SEBA is pleased to announce the appointment of a second Regional Minister to start work in October 2009. He is the REVD PAUL KERLEY, currently at Aldwick Free Church (Baptist), near Bognor Regis.

Welcome to the SEBA website from the Moderator, Roger Barnett. July 2009.
· We hope that you will find our website useful and interesting. As noted elsewhere, we would appreciate your prayers for the Revd Paul Kerley as he prepares to take up the position of Regional Minister in October and for his church in Aldwick as they prepare for a period of pastoral vacancy.
· For July, please pray for the SOUTH KENT NETWORK; see the list of churches on another page of our website. Pray for the SEBA Executive member for that network, the Revd Bob Kirby of Hawkhurst Baptist Church. Bob works with church leaders in the network to arrange times when their congregations can get together to celebrate God’s love to us all and seek ways to relate meaningfully and support each other.
· During July, please pray for the ROMNEY MARSH CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP and their minister, the Revd Philip Rowe. Also for Ralph Province (Youth Worker) and Sheila Heather (Children’s Worker).
· The church at Romney Marsh has two Alpha Courses in progress at the moment – one for young people and one for adults. Please pray for those leading and those attending.
· On Saturday 25 July, they are taking part in the New Romney Fair. Pray for the church’s involvement in this as they engage in outreach to their local community.
· They are reshaping their cell groups during the month ready for the autumn. Also, a number of the congregation have quite serious health problems at the moment – please pray for their protection and that they will get the correct treatment.
· During this month, over twenty of their children are attending a SPREE weekend arranged by Urban Saints. Please pray that they will be kept safe, receive blessing and come to know the love of the Lord more deeply during their time away.

Then you have the afternoons free to really relax and be refreshed physically with rest, sport and/or entertainment. There is also much to see and do in the area around Warwick. We aim to keep costs to a minimum to allow this event to be as accessible to as many as possible. Come alone, with your family and or with a group.
