Enabling mission and Christian living
If you and your church or church group are looking for somewhere to hold a retreat, day of prayer, or similar event, you will find this page helpful. Below are listed churches who offer facilities - please click on each listing for more information. All listings must be offered free of charge (donations welcome). (This page is still under construction)
They would be able to offer a tea to any group up to about 40 people.
Also a day retreat would be possible for a small group (preferably self-catering). They have a well equipped kitchen, disabled access and toilet, and the Chapel. It is very quiet as they are surrounded by orchards near the village of Boughton Lees. The only downside would be parking, although there is a lay-by just down the lane from the Chapel, and two or three cars could park on the verge just outside the Chapel.

A small group from Seaford Baptist recently held their Christianity Explored Away day with us and as they had such a good time I thought I would make the space available to other groups who want to use it.
My Office/ Study is located on a farm estate in Blackboys village mid Sussex (TN22 5HG). Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne are about half an hours drive north and south respectively. There is space in my room for up to 10 people with the possibility of a larger room seating up to 20. I am happy to provide my room free of charge although there would be a cost for the larger room.
On the same farm there is the Grove Café and Shop which is run by four members of the church. They can provide coffees/teas/cold drinks cakes and pastries as well as light lunches, wraps and sandwiches. There is a good parking, free wifi, an outside area if the weather is fine and public footpaths leading through the fields surrounding the farm.
The venue would be ideal for small group away days, leaders days or perhaps even for a couple who need to escape and recharge. Saturdays would be ideal although I could make the room available in the week if needs be.
