David Sheldon 

David is a member and Secretary at Brighton Road Baptist Church in Horsham, which he first started attending at the age of four and has been involved with ever since. For 13 years he and his family were part of the LIFE Community BC plant, but they returned to BRBC in 2006 where he is actively involved in leading and playing for worship.

David spent the first twenty years of his working life in a variety of different roles in the telecoms industry, including support, project management, channel sales and product management. After redundancy in 2008 he went in to the voluntary sector working first for Citizens Advice and then leading a Horsham based charity supporting the homeless and those finding hard to make ends meet. He has also worked as an Administrator at BRBC.

He has been both a Horsham District and West Sussex County Councillor and is currently a trustee for West Sussex Mediation Service and Men in Sheds Horsham. He is married to Carole and they have a son Ben, who is a youth worker in his local church and has recently retrained as an electrician.
