SEBA Worship training day

3rd October 2015 at Gateway Baptist Church, Burgess Hill

This is relevant to all churches, irrespective of what their resources are musically or whether this falls to one person or a team.  This will be a very practical day full of ideas and encouragements for all size churches, and is for those who have responsibility for leading worship, playing for and preparing for worship, and those who man the sound or p/a.

The day will be led by:
Revd Stuart Davison – SEBA Team Leader and Regional Minister. Stuart is a musician and worship leader.
Gill Davison – member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians, worship leader and music teacher.
Revd Dr Ian White – Senior Minster at Victoria Baptist Church, Eastbourne and vice chairman of Memralife whose conferences (Spring Harvest, Aiming 4 Excellence) and media ministry (under the ICC label) are known world-wide. Ian is a musician and worship leader.
Tim Wears – member of the pastoral team at Guildford Baptist Church with particular focus on the worship life of the church.
Dave Stening – sound engineer of many years’ experience in churches, concerts and theatres.

People are encouraged to bring their instruments with them and sadly while it is not possible to accommodate individual drum kits or pianos (!) percussion instruments will be available, and keyboards could be brought along just in case. If there is an issue around the finances then please do not hesitate to get in touch with Liz or Stuart
