HOME MISSION FOCUS - Green Fields Baptist Church

Green Fields is a small but lively Baptist church serving South Crawley. We have Sunday services at 10.30am, and a monthly evening communion service when we join together with Crawley (West Green) and Haven (Crawley Down) Baptist churches. We are also active during the week with various groups for parents and toddlers, after-school clubs, youth clubs, Bible study, prayer and fellowship groups and so on. We also have a ministry to the nearby Crawley Open House homeless centre where our minister is chaplain. Further details from Revd. Peter Farquhar on greenfieldsbc@aol.com or Mrs. Vena Snell, church secretary, on venabelinda@aol.com.

Prayers for thanksgiving:

* Our links with local families which are beginning to provide opportunities for dedication services, weddings, baptisms and other ways of introducing them to the Christian faith.

* Our links with other local churches, leading to the recent formation of Tilgate and Furnace Green Churches Together plans for combined local services and other activities.

* The willingness of people within the church and the community to offer their support, encouragement and practical assistance to enable our vision to be put into being.

Prayers needed for:

* Spiritual as well as numerical growth.

* Our ongoing ministry in Crawley Open House and our local school (The Oaks) where our minister is a community governor.

* To be true to our vision, which is based upon 1 Peter 3.15.

Welcome to SEBA – the South Eastern Baptist Association

We are the most recently formed of the Associations of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, having started in January 2007. Hopefully, therefore, we have the enthusiasm of youth on our side!

We are committed to mission at the local level and desire to enable the local churches to grow and the nine Networks that compose SEBA to be expressions of life.
