Enabling mission and Christian living
Welcome to the Children’s & Youth page I hope that you will find lots of interesting, helpful, stimulating, inspiring & possibly even humorous information. I am very keen that you all feel a part of what is included on these pages so if there is anything that you think would help other churches please do let me know. Your story may just give that vital bit of insight to someone else.
The work that goes on week after week bring a mixture of highs, lows, joys & sadness & if I can help you in any way then please do get in touch.
There are lots of resources available to Children’s & Youth Workers – sometimes they’re worth duplicating, sometimes it best just to point you in the right direction.
Please find below all resources and information provided by us, and to the right, links to helpful websites with great information
We send a resources pack to all new employed workers & named contact workers (so if you haven’t received one, do let me know – email here).

TRAINING: Food Safety in Catering
(Formerly known as Food Hygiene) I do bring in outside trainers for this so need to make sure that any courses booked have sufficient delegates to make them both time and cost effective.
TRAINING: First Aid
Between eight and twelve candidates are needed to make running an Emergency First Aid at Work Course cost and time effective. If you are requiring First Aid training please do chat with others in your church / area to see if you can get a group together which would make it possible to book a course in your church. Annual refresher course should be booked direct with the trainer, Ian.
TRAINING: Safeguarding Children / Working with Vulnerable Adults
If you are in need of training, please do get in contact with me. I am happy to come to individual churches or networks.
Please make sure that you let me know any changes in contact details so that I can keep my records up to date and ensure that any information sent reaches the right people. Thank you
