Enabling mission and Christian living
Our trip to Soul Survivor in 2011 was another full house of 150 for the SEBA group, a great time of fun, food & festival highlights. This year with more health & safety regulations in place as well as stricter fire regulations we had our work cut out making sure that everything was in place so that we complied with it all. So some more new equipment, a second Marquee, a secure cupboard for charging mobile phones, and a menu to die for, what more could you ask. And of course to everyone who came, what a great bunch you all are, fulfilling rotas without complaining, from collecting water to washing up, orderly queuing (very British!) & consuming everything put in front of you. With stories of how God changed lives of the young & not so young; encouragement for leaders & a new vibrancy going back into the local church, there was much to praise God for.
And yes you may have spotted it the extremely uncommon & quite exceptional moment caught on camera a very rare photo of the cooks having a sit down.
Getting ready for 2012, perhaps the sun will shine on us this year…
